Event dates this year are Oct. 17, 18, 24 and 25.

This years Boo at the Zoo will kick off on Friday, Oct. 17 with a one-night-only performance on the Capital One Stage by Imagination Movers, the popular childrens music quartet based in New Orleans.

Boo at the Zoo is a safe, fun-filled Halloween event for children up to age 12, featuring trick-or-treat houses with candy, a Ghost Train, games with prizes, entertainment and more. All games and treats, except concessions, are included with admission.

The spooky party will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. all four nights. Audubon Zoo will close at 3 p.m. each day to prepare for Boo at the Zoo.

In addition to the opening night performance by Imagination Movers, the 2014 edition of Boo at the Zoo will feature a new and improved haunted mansion, Laser Tag, Angry Bird Launchers and Monster Maze on all four nights.

The Matthew Davidson Band will perform on the Capital One Stage Friday, Oct. 25. The Lowe's Build and Grow Workshop will be open Saturday, Oct. 18, and Saturday, Oct. 25 for kids to build fun wooden crafts to take home.

A limited number of tickets will be sold for each night. The Endangered Species Carousel and the Dinosaur Adventures Exhibit are included in admission.

The fun also includes a Zombie-themed Ghost Train Ride with three trams, an expanded toddler area featuring nightly live entertainment in Audubon Zoos Cool Zoo (be aware, no water will be running).

Tickets will be honored only for the date purchased. Ticket holders attempting to enter on another night will not be admitted.

Ticket prices are $17 per person (adult or child) plus handling fee. Adults must purchase tickets as well as all children 12 months and older. Children under 12 months of age are admitted free. Ticket holders may enter at any time during event hours. Each person entering the event needs a ticket. Event is held rain or shine.
