Dallas, TX - A pair of Texas twins are celebrating a life milestone.
Some wondered if a pair of conjoined twins in Dallas would ever hear “Happy Birthday" and now, they are doing just that.
The twins were born last July, conjoined at the chest and sharing several critical organs. They survived a complicated separation surgery six weeks later.
Now, the twins are returning to Dallas Children's Hospital to mark their first birthday with the staff that saved their lives and made this celebration possible.
The boys graduated from a live-in rehab nearly a month ago and are finally living at home, where they are thriving.
While the boys are still connected to feeding tubes, both are now completely breathing on their own.
