San Antonio, TX - Texas rainstorms have forced evacuation of a hotel, flooded roads, and stranded campers.

Investigators say lightning blew a hole in the roof of a Holiday Inn in San Antonio. About 50 guests were evacuated safely, and firefighters were able to put out the flames.

Austin-Travis County EMS reports an estimated dozen campers were stranded Friday after their boats floated away during Colorado River flooding.

A helicopter transported the men to land, and no injuries were reported.Around 11,000 CPS Energy customers in the San Antonio area lost electricity Friday.
