Texas shooting suspect collapses in court

Spring, Texas - A man accused of murdering six of his ex-wife's family members, including four children, collapsed in court as a prosecutor listed the charges against him.

33-year-old Ronald Lee Haskell stood before a state district judge Friday in shackles during a probable cause hearing when he fell to the floor.

Deputies brought him back to his feet, and Haskell stood for a minute more before hitting the ground again.

He was lifted into a chair and wheeled from the courtroom.

Doug Durham, his court-appointed attorney, says it appeared Haskell fainted.

Authorities say Haskell was looking for his ex-wife Wednesday when he shot the family in their suburban Houston house.Durham says the defense will center on Haskell's mental health.
