Alaskan governor Sarah Palin calls for the impeachment of President Barack Obama over the "unsecured border crisis."
The 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee wrote in an op-ed published on the conservative website Breitbart that the time has come to impeach.
In her article, she accuses Obama of intentionally permitting immigrants into the United States and limiting American job opportunities.
"President Obama’s rewarding of lawlessness, including his own, is the foundational problem here," she wrote.
Palin's accusations follow Obama's request for nearly $4 billion in emergency funds from Congress to respond to the flood of illegal immigrants crossing the Texas-Mexico border.Republicans and even some Democrats believe Obama's actions are not enough.
