Police investigating gun shots at Amarillo home

AMARILLO - The Amarillo Police Department are investigating early morning gun shots to a residence in central Amarillo.

On June 28, officers were dispatched around 6:30 a.m. to the 5300 block of Albert St. on a possible vandalism. The homeowner stated that he was awoken by "two loud bangs" around 1:30 a.m. He got up to investigate but saw nothing unusual.

Later in the morning, the homeowner got up and found two bullet holes in the front window of the house and one bullet that struck the outside. 

No injuries are reported. There are no suspects or vehicle descriptions at this time.
