When thinking of fire trucks, red is usually the first color that comes to mind. But, on Saturday, there were trucks in town showing off a different shade.

The "Pink Heals" tour drove into town with the mission of bringing love and hope to communities around the country in the form of pink fire trucks.

The nation wide tour stopped in Amarillo at the Coffee Memorial Blood Center.

Founder David Graybill says this is the first time the group has been to Amarillo, with hopes of spreading an important message."The key here is we are coming together based on a value of a woman and not the disease she has, so it is a wonderful experience. We are one of the fastest growing community wide initiative," Graybill said.

Those who were there on Saturday, were able to sign a message of hope on the trucks. Men and women volunteer to driver the trucks for up to 18 days at a time. The "Pink Heals" tour is now heading to Tennessee.
