Canyon boy organizes pancake fundraiser for friend with cancer

Helping out a friend with cancer was the main reason why 8 year old Bradyon Bannor spent his Saturday morning hosting a pancake fundraiser.
The breakfast and silent auction were held at the Cole Community Center in Canyon, with money benefiting Josh Jones and his family.

Jones is battling an aggressive cancer. Due to medical bills, the family is in danger of losing their home and car.

But thank's to Bradyon's kind heart, the fundraiser helped to make a difference.

We spoke with Braydon's mom a few week's ago, who helped to organize Saturday's event. It's a cause that hit's home for her, after battling cancer herself.

"It is just everyday financial crisis. I've done it, we have been there, we lost our home to cancer, so we have faced this ourselves. And so having been there, it is a very tough tough battle. And it hit our heart and we want to get back like we have been given to," Brianne Banner said.

Saturday's breakfast was provided by the Canyon Lions Club.
