Local fugitive wanted out of Potter County

Amarillo, TX - Amarillo police are asking for your help in locating an area fugitive.

Reneasha Brown is wanted out of Potter County.

Originally charged with the possession of a controlled substance, Brown is now also under warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

APD's Cpl. Sean Slover told NewsChannel 10, Brown's aggravated assault occurred after she was accused of theft of a home at the 1900 block of Highland on May 9.

The victims are said to have confronted Brown of her theft, where she then displayed a knife.

Police say after this occurred some property was returned to the owners and a report was made by APD. 

It was then police issued warrants for Brown's arrest.

If you have any information on Brown's location, you are asked to call Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400.

An anonymous tip could earn you a reward up to $300.

    Around 3 p.m. Saturday, a man was pronounced dead after a wreck involving two motorcycles. Police say two men were traveling south on the Canyon E-way near the Hillside exit when one of the motorcycles stuck the back of a Toyota Camry. One male killed and the other motorcycle driver was taken to the hospital. Both the driver and the passenger in the Toyota were also taken to the hospital with minor injures.
