Furthers RNTS' Tri-Media Strategy

AMSTERDAM, June 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- RNTS Media N.V. announces today that, in continuing to build out its global digital content transformation platform, it is pleased to confirm a first collaboration with Relativity Media Ltd. ("Relativity"), a next-generation global media company engaged in multiple aspects of content production and distribution, including movies, television, fashion, sports, digital and music. RNTS Media has acquired the rights to produce a game for the core Asian markets of South Korea, China and Japan based on Relativity's highly successful film and upcoming television series Limitless which RNTS Media plans to develop into a social network mobile game for users to play together. This announcement marks an important next step in the implementation of RNTS Media's tri-media strategy.

Jai Paik, CFO of RNTS Media comments: "We believe we have a unique business model: regional development rights in proven successes such as Limitless allow us to develop new products for our growing customer base, yet we maintain our original "DNA" in Korea where we have an in-depth understanding of the Asian games consumer market."

Roger Mincheff, who leads Relativity Digital Studios, said: "Relativity is a global content engine that tells powerful and engaging stories across multiple platforms. Limitless was an incredibly successful film, and we are excited to extend its remarkable world to television and now mobile games across Asia. This collaboration marks the start of what we hope will be more ventures with RNTS Media."

Relativity's film Limitless, which starred Bradley Cooper, Robert De Niro and Abbie Cornish, grossed over $160 million worldwide and is currently being developed into a television series. The film is a paranoia-fueled action thriller about an unsuccessful writer whose life is transformed by a top-secret "smart drug" that allows him to use 100% of his brain and become a perfect version of himself. His enhanced abilities soon attract shadowy forces that threaten his new life.
