Home's Backyard Ball helps raised money for local charities

One of the area's largest charity events and music festivals which kicked off Saturday morning in Amarillo.
This is the 18th year for Homer's Backyard Ball.

It originally started as a small backyard party but has grown to be bigger than ever.

With several different Texas country bands, a BBQ cook off and others games, those who are there can have a great time while helping out several area charities.

Money raised will benefit the North Texas Make A Wish foundation, the Kiva Shrine of Amarillo and the Juvenile Diabetes Research foundation.
