Increased patrols result in arrests

Stratford, TX - On Monday we told you about the Sherman County Sheriff's Department increasing patrol following the "4-20" celebrations in Colorado over the weekend.

The Sherman County Sheriff's Department along with the Stratford Police Department say they made around 35 traffic stops for various offenses, and many of the stops involved people on their way home from Colorado.

A traffic stop Tuesday resulted in an arrest for possession.

While another arrest resulted in an arrest for drugs, cash and weapons.

There was also one person cited for drug paraphernalia.
