Fire destroys trailer home at Amarillo Estates

Amarillo,TX - A trailer house is destroyed after a fire started at Amarillo Estates at 6666 Pavillard. 

According to The Amarillo Fire Department, the fire started at about 9 a.m. this morning. 

10 unites were called to the scene to help up out the fire. The fire was put out at about 9:40 a.m.

The Amarillo Fire Department confirmed there are no known injuries. 

We were able to briefly talk to one of the tenets who lived at the trailer. He was completely shocked and upset over what happened.

He told us he lives at Amarillo Estates with his wife, step-daughter, and baby. None of them where home when the fire took place.

The American Red Cross Panhandle and Cornerstone Outreach are working with the family to provide a place to stay, food, and money to help them. 

The cause of fire has not been released, The Amarillo Fire Department are still investigating.
