Two drug busts yield estimated 3.1 million in meth and heroin

Conway, TX - Twenty-six pounds of drugs were discovered during traffic stops on I-40 according to state troopers.

The first drug bust happened Thursday afternoon around 1:30 pm near Conway in Carson County.

DPS Troopers report finding 11 pounds of Meth with an estimated value of a little over $400,000 in the windshield washer reservoir of the vehicle.

The second bust happened Thursday evening around 5:20 pm, where troopers reported locating an estimated 2.7 million dollars worth of Heroin in the seats of the vehicle.

Drivers of both incidents were arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and booked into the Carson County Jail.
