New iPad Magazine for Women Entrepreneurs and Work from Home Start-ups

Posted: Updated:

Violet Magazine Editor & CEO, Alyson Swan, knows only too well how lonely, and at times, frustrating it can be to work from home as a solo entrepreneur while running a household and family with limited time to focus on business.

Adelaide, March 6, 2014 /MM-SM/ —

A brand new digital magazine launching on the Apple iPad Newsstand 10th March, aims to be the female entrepreneurs online ‘bestie’ by providing a networking and advertising platform that also teaches, inspires and empowers women to be successful business owners.

“Working many hours, trading time for money is the sad reality for so many start-ups and small businesses. There can be many reasons for this. One of them is the inability to speak directly to their ideal client and leverage the tools that are available in the online marketplace,” says Swan, “and of course there is the current shift in venue for where those ‘target audiences’ are now spending time.”

Swan knew that the digital magazine environment was the perfect place to provide some great options and formats for women ‘work from home’ entrepreneurs.

“Many women today are balancing creativity and family life have felt at some stage a certain ‘loneliness’ while working from home.” claims Swan, “So one of the many reasons why I have created Violet Magazine is to connect women via an entertaining and informative platform and provide them with a place to learn and be inspired to continue creating their success businesses.”

Subscribers and partners will have the opportunity to interact with educated, savvy business thinkers through advertising and integrated solutions beyond the pages of a digital magazine that will enable them to:

- Reach and engage with a highly responsive, intelligent audience.
- Achieve their objectives through a cross-platformed approach, digital media, and interactivity including video and social media.

“It’s the Violet Advantage,” says Swan.
