Child Safety Risk

Parents might want to keep their eye on a toy that some say could be dangerous.

Fisher Price's Soothe and Glow Seahorse" has received several complaints online from concerned parents claiming the toy will start to smoke after the batteries have been changed.

These same parents are asking for a recall on the toy... But, at this time, Fisher Price says there has not been a substantial hazard on this toy because no child has been hurt.

Local pediatricians recommend parents be aware of the dangers of the toys they purchase, and to check out reviews first to make sure the toys are safe.
