La policía de Amarillo y bancos locales advierten a los residentes de la zona sobre una nueva estafa que involucra su información personal. La estafa consiste en un mensaje de texto enviado de un numero local 806, en la que le dicen que su tarjeta Mastercard ha tenido un problema y será desactivada.
Luego le dicen que llame a un numero que le dan para reactivar su tarjeta y cuando usted llama, le piden los 16 digitos de su tarjeta Mastercard.
Los expertos en finanzas dicen que si usted responde a los mensajes accidentalmente, pongase en contacto con su banco o cooperativa de crédito de inmediato para suspender su cuenta y llenar la información adecuada.
