Amarillo, TX - At least three homes and one garage in North Amarillo are damaged after a fire started just before 6 p.m. on Saturday.
Fire officials say the blaze started in a garage in the 2500 block of South West 1st St. The fire then proceeded to spread to three other homes in the area.
Officials say those structures received minor damage compared to the garage which they are saying is a total loss, along with two cars inside.
Five Amarillo fire trucks were called to battle the blaze and Amarillo Police were called to evacuate the area for precautionary reasons.
Some residents were treated on the scene but no one was transported to the hospital. Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire.
