YouTube video putting human face on violent uprising in Ukraine

Posted: Updated:

A YouTube video of the protests in Ukraine is putting a human face on the violent uprising sweeping the nation.

In the video a young student stands on the streets of Kiev calling for action. She addresses the camera directly, says "we want to be free" and outlines why thousands of people have stormed the streets.

Some are calling the video one-sided propaganda focusing only on the violence coming from the government and police, while mentioning nothing of the violence carried out by the protestors themselves.
