Red Raiders host Big 12 match up

Lubbock, TX - The Texas Tech Men's basketball team led by Clovis high graduate Jaye Crockett, who is averaging 14.8 points per game and 6.7 rebounds per game (both team highs), have had an impressive month of February.

The Red Raiders knocked off TCU, and had impressive victories over both Oklahoma State, and Oklahoma and narrowly lost to the number 11 ranked Iowa State Cyclones by 6 on Saturday.

But now Tubby Smith and his team have maybe their toughest test of the season. On Tuesday they host the Big 12 leading Kansas Jayhawks. The Jayhawks boast not one but two, top 5 projected picks in the upcoming 2014 NBA draft, in Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid.

Crockett could see tough match ups with both of these players in the front court Tomorrow. Tip off for Tuesdays Big 12 matchup is set for 7:00 pm in the United Spirit Arena.
