Wendy Davis takes stance on gun rights

Posted: Updated:

Texas - Democratic gubernatorial candidate, Wendy Davis, is now taking a stance on gun rights along her campaign trail.

Davis is speaking out on her stance when it comes to gun rights, and she's all in favor. Davis says her support of gun rights in the lone star state includes the expansion of gun rights to allow Texans with concealed handgun license to openly do so in public.

"Open carry" would allow license holders to carry a pistol on their hip without having to hide it. This has been a topic popular among Republicans on the campaign trail.

Davis is aligning her position with her Republican opponent Greg Abbott.

Davis has said she would like to get her concealed handgun license, which she currently does not have.
