New High School curriculum approved

Posted: Updated:

Texas high school students will no longer be required to take Algebra 2, in order to graduate.

The decision comes after the Texas Board of Education approved a new high school curriculum on Friday.

The new plan also cuts the number of standardized tests that students have to pass, from 15 to five.
The new curriculum plan will begin in September.
