Several crews battled Oklahoma oil field fire

TEXAS COUNTY, OK - Crews battled an oil field fire that sparked late Sunday afternoon in the Oklahoma panhandle.

Authorities say two small oil tank storage batteries caught fire off Highway 64 near the Texas and Cimarron county line. Multiple agencies responded to the blaze.

The Texas County Sheriff's Office says the fire is burning out. The tanks are isolated and fuel into those tanks has been turned off.

Crews from several counties and municipalities including Morton County Kansas battled the fire.
