Police investigating an assault and kidnapping in Amarillo

Amarillo, TX - Police are investigating an assault and kidnapping in Amarillo. Two men have been arrested in connection with the crime.

Police say just before 5 o'clock Tuesday morning, a man was taken from his home in the 2900 block of Wichita Street to a home two blocks away. There, he was assaulted and shot repeatedly with a BB gun.

The victim managed to escape and seek help from neighbors down the street. With the help of SWAT, Police arrested the suspects Tuesday afternoon in the 2700 block of Wichita Street.

28 year old Joshua Nathaniel Anderson was booked for aggravated kidnapping and aggravated assault. 28 year old Jesse Llamas Adcock was booked for aggravated assault.
