West Texas and A&M warns of phone "spoofing"

Posted: Updated:

Canyon, TX -   If you receive a call from West Texas A&M, they want you to know it's not them.

WTAMU says one of the phone  extensions on their campus has been "spoofed".

Which means someone is using the WTAMU phone number as the Caller ID information.

If you receive a call from WTAMU they ask that you ignore it because they will never solicit business by telephone.
