Amarillo High ready for district match ups

Amarillo, Texas - District 3-4A girl's kicked off their district schedules Tuesday, and Friday the boys finally get into the action, and in true fashion district play opens up with everyone getting tested right off the bat.

One of those match-ups being Amarillo High taking on the Randall Raiders. The Sandies played a great pre-district schedule, finishing 12-5, and Head Coach Jason Pillion likes what his team has done, and the match-up on Friday night.

"We do have a couple of big kids this year, they shoot the ball so well. They pose some problems because they shoot the ball so well because you have some bigger kids out guarding on the perimeter. We feel like it is a good match up. We feel like it will be a good ball game Friday," Pillion said.
