LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) - Federal authorities say a West Texas man has been sentenced to more than 17 years in prison for filming a young child while she showered.

Jose Francisco Madrigal Jr. of Plainview was sentenced after pleading guilty in August to production of child pornography. Authorities announced the outcome Thursday after he was sentenced last week in federal court in Lubbock.

Prosecutors say the 43-year-old Madrigal in October 2012 filmed the girl through a hole in the wall of the shower at his home in Plainview, about 50 miles north of Lubbock. He then produced two explicit videos showing images of the girl.
