Warrant served for Gold and Silver shooting suspect

An arrest warrant has been served for a suspect in last week's shooting at Amarillo Gold and Silver on Western Street. 

The suspect is identified as 39 year old Jason McKay. 

McKay is accused of shooting Curtis Fowler, who is the owner of Amarillo Gold and Silver.

Fowler was sent to the hospital with gunshot wounds, but was later released. 

Amarillo Police says McKay is now facing a charge of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. 

McKay is currently in the Gray County Jail on unrelated charges.   

Amarillo Police are now waiting on extradition papers do McKay can be brought back to Potter County.
