Lady Buffs ready for challenge on West Coast

Posted: Updated:

Canyon, Texas - The Lady Buffs have made their way over to the West Coast. They'll be playing a couple of games in Seattle, Washington before the holiday break, their first one Thursday.

But their last road trip gave the No. 10 Lady buffs their first loss of the year. They'll have a challenge ahead of them with two tough opponents.

But, head coach Mark Kellogg is excited to see how his girls react to their first taste of adversity.

"You don't know how you respond from a loss until you tip it up again the next time. So you know, we need a little preparation time. We need to probably recover a little bit. But yeah, we'll be excited to play Simon Fraser whose off to 6-1 and was ranked earlier in the year, And Seattle Pacific who I think is 9th in the country. But yeah, the tests continue and that's exciting. That's exciting for us to see if we can bounce back. We haven't been through this yet," Kellogg said.
