Amarillo, TX - There were a few early morning wrecks Tuesday morning in the panhandle.
According to the Department of Public Safety the first one happened around 5:30 when an SUV attempted to stop at an intersection, but slid due to ice on the road and it was struck by a cattle truck. Both drivers were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Troopers say the second wreck occurred shortly after when a semi-truck over-corrected and spilled milk, canned food and boxes of food. The Health Department was called out to inspect the spill.
Then just after 7:00 a motorhome struck a horse on U.S. 54, just west of Dalhart. DPS says no injuries were reported in that accident
