Six indicted in Lance Hooser homicide

Six indictments were handed down Thursday by the Potter County Grand Jury in connection with a homicide in August when a body was dumped in an Amarillo neighborhood.

29 year old Lance Hooser was found with his hands and feet bound, severely beaten and shot near 3rd and Bryan street.

Now Ricky Don Burns and Terry Young are indicted on murder.

In addition to those indictments, Robert Melton, Bobby Crawford Junior, and Jeffrey Noblett were also indicted for aggravated kidnapping.

Police say they were not present when Hooser was beaten.

Donna Colson, who investigators believe helped clean up the scene of the original attack, is indicted on a charge of tampering with evidence.

All suspects with the exception of Colson are currently being held in the Potter County Jail.
