Red Cross called to assist victims of overnight duplex fire

The cause of an overnight fire has been ruled accidental after 23 firefighters were called out around midnight Saturday night.

Seven units arrived at 7201 Montague, a two-story duplex, where a fire that began on the first floor had spread to the second.

There was heavy fire damage inside the building, but no injuries were reported as a result of the fire.

The cause was accidental and the American Red Cross was called to assist the occupants of the home with any basic needs.
