U.S. Intelligence Report on Syria Released

Washington, DC - The Obama Administration released an intelligence report Friday on the use of chemical weapons in Syria.

The four-page report claims more that 14 hundred Syrian citizens were killed in that attack with more than four hundred being children. U.S. intelligence agencies claim in the three days before the attack on August 21st detected signs of activities associated with preparations for an attack by Syrian authorities.

The report also says chemical weapons personnel were operating in the suburb of Adra from August 18th until the morning of August 21st.

Intelligence agencies intercepted communications of a senior Syrian official who confirmed chemical weapons were used by the regime, and that official expressed concern with U.N. inspectors obtaining evidence.

Spy satellites detected rocket launchings from Syrian government-controlled territory 90 minutes before the first reports of the attack.
