Man arrested in connection with several auto burglaries

Amarillo, TX - One man is put behind bars after several recent auto burglaries in Amarillo.

21 year-old Aaron Morales is facing three counts of burglary of a vehicle and was taken to the Potter County jail.

Around 7:30 Tuesday evening, Amarillo police responded to the 7300 block of Fleming, near Coulter and Amarillo Boulevard on a vehicle burglary call.

During an investigation, officers reported finding several other auto burglaries that had taken place in the same area.

Morales was later located on the 1400 block of North Arapahoe. Amarillo police say they found a lot of stolen items inside the vehicle Morales was driving.
