ABBA House Open House after a year of construction

The Downtown Women's Center in Amarillo is opening the doors of it's ABBA House, Monday June 17th, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. for an open house after a year of construction.

The ABBA house consists of ten apartments for women recovering from addiction. The building is over 100 years old.

Money for renovations came from a Community Development Block Grant from the city of Amarillo. The building now has proper electrical, plumbing and insulation to comply with City code.

The ABBA House is located directly next to the Women's Center on 409 S Monroe Street.
