TTUHSC adds more breast cancer screening dates

Amarillo, TX - Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center has teamed up with Amarillo's Breast Center for Excellence to provide free breast cancer screenings at various United Supermarkets locations over the past few weeks.

The groups have continued to add more dates and locations to further provide this service - including one in Canyon and Dumas this week.

All upcoming events are as follows:

Tuesday June 18

4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. - United Supermarket 201 N 23rd St., Canyon, TX

Wednesday June 19

4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. - United Supermarket 1420 Guylane Plaza, Dumas, TX

4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. - United Supermarket 4701 S. Washington, Amarillo, TX

Monday June 24

4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. - United Supermarket 5601 Amarillo Blvd West at Gem Lake Road, Amarillo, TX

    Drivers in downtown Amarillo could soon be dealing with fewer one-way streets. It all has to do with the parking garages going up on Buchanan Street. Cars will need to exit right and left on 7th and 8th Avenues, and right now it's against city ordinance to turn left out of any parking garage in the city.
