Oklahoma residents still missing after tornado outbreak

Oklahoma City, OK - Authorities in Oklahoma continue searching for residents who remain missing after another tornado outbreak.

At least 13 people died after Friday's tornadoes but the fear is that the death toll will rise.

Six people still remain missing.

The National Weather Service confirms a total of five tornadoes struck the Oklahoma City        metro-area on Friday.

The storm system was so strong it mowed down power lines, uprooted trees and flipped big rigs on their sides.

It also ripped off part of the terminal roof at Oklahoma City's Will Rogers World Airport.

Plenty of notice to seek shelter was given to residents; many of them decided to flee the area.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the roads quickly became congested with bumper to bumper traffic, putting drivers in a very dangerous position.

After the tornadoes passed, flooding became a problem.

Some bodies were swept up to five miles down-stream.
