Woman searches WebMD after son shot

Santa Fe, Texas - A Texas mom could face felony charges for the way she handled her son being shot.

Police say earlier this week the Houston-area woman's 14-year-old son was shot by an older friend.

But instead of taking the teen to the hospital, she went to the computer and searched how to treat a gunshot wound on Web MD.

The woman did eventually take her son to the hospital, seven hours later.

He's currently in stable condition and the shooter is under arrest.
