Massive house fire in La Paloma addition

Posted: Updated:

Amarillo, TX - Fire crews worked a massive house fire that consumed a home in a prominent Amarillo housing addition.

It was just after 4:00 Friday afternoon when the first units arrived at a home on Valhalla street inside the La Paloma golf course.

The first trucks on scene called for a second and third alarm to help battle the blaze that was creating smoke plumes that could be seen from across town.

No injuries have been reported and fire investigators are now looking into what may have caused the home to go up in flames.
