Amarillo, TX - Amarillo police are still investigating a local shooting after a man with a gunshot wound stumbled into a convenience store for help.
Police say it happened around 8:00 Tuesday night, when the 32 year old victim told store employees he had been shot.
It was at the Toot-N-Totum at 301 Ross St where the victim was found and transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police discovered that he had driven to the store after initially being shot at a home in the 1300 block of SE 5th.
Officers say they recovered the firearm used, a small caliber handgun.
The shooting appears to be related to a previous relationship involving a female and the man who was shot but the incident remains under investigation.
