Counterpart's multimedia production was a finalist in the category of Best Video Program in this year's Nonprofit PR Awards. Organized by PR News, the winners were announced today at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

"I want to congratulate Counterpart's team for all of its excellent work and the recognition it brings to our programs around the world," says Joan Parker, President and CEO of Counterpart. "Our goal is to tell the stories of the communities where we work. These two products are exceptional examples of how we reach that goal."

Produced in-house, the nonprofit's six-minute video competed with work by two major PR firms, Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide and Dixon Schwabl. Ogilvy took the top honor this year.
