Two men arrested in connection with Clovis neighborhood shooting

Posted: Updated:

Clovis, NM - Two brothers in Clovis are arrested for felony shooting, resisting, evading or obstructing a police officer and assault on a police officer.

The two men were identified as 22 year-old Anthony Romo and 18 year-old Andres Romo Granado.

Authorities responded to two separate reports of shots fired Tuesday night, where witnesses claim seeing the suspects in a green Honda. No one was struck by the bullets.

Officers were able to quickly track down the vehicle. Police say the brothers resisted arrest and assaulted officers, but were eventually taken into custody.
