Banks asked to pressure gun makers

Amarillo, Texas - Texas Senator Ted Cruz is responding to threats sent to a couple of major banks about doing business with firearm companies.

The mayor of Chicago reportedly sent letters to the CEO's of Bank of America and TD Bank Group, urging them to cease business with american firearm manufacturers, Smith and Wesson, and Sturm, Ruger and Co.

Senator Cruz is responding, saying Texas would welcome more of their business and the jobs they create.

He also says behavior like this undermines the Second Amendment rights of millions of Texans.
