Police look for black male suspect in aggravated robbery

A thief makes off with an unknown amount of cash and merchandise after he robbed a store clerk in Amarillo early Sunday morning.

Amarillo police say the aggravated robbery happened early Sunday morning just before six at the Taylor's Petroleum store at 1600 Amarillo Blvd. East. The clerk says a black male, appearing to be in his 20's, between 5' 5'' and 5' 7'', came into the store and ordered her to give him money from the register. She did and he fled the store.

He was last seen wearing gray sweat pants, a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, and a bandana across his face. No arrests have been made so if you have any information on this suspect, you're asked to call Amarillo Police or Crime Stoppers at 374-4400.
