Clovis man killed after struck by pick-up

Clovis, NM - A Clovis man is dead after being struck by a vehicle early Wednesday morning. 

The accident happened at around 4:00 am at the 2400 block of East Mabry Drive where 56 year-old Steve Plyler walked out onto the road.

He was hit by a pick-up, and found dead at the scene by police.  

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash on the part of the pedestrian.
