Veterans Day ceremonies continued Sunday morning with the service at the Texas Panhandle War Memorial in Amarillo.
The service began with a flyover at eleven that morning. The honor guard from Hereford High School performed and the service flag detail was done by VFW Post 1475.
Veterans, their families and the public were invited to attend. It was a ceremony to honor the veterans and a time for many of them to reflect on their time in the service.
The main speaker at Sunday morning's ceremony was Captain Andrew Jones, United States Marine Corps Inspector Instructor Staff with the Anti-Terrorism Battalion in Amarillo.
