Pair of women wanted in connection with coupon scam

BORGER, TX- Crime Stoppers and Borger Police are actively trying to track down a pair of women in connection with scamming a local grocery store.

Police say two females went into a United Supermarket and used counterfeit coupons to purchase nearly $900 in merchandise.

One woman is described as a heavy set, white female wearing all black clothing.

Authorities believe she and an accomplice left the store in a blue Saturn 4-door SUV.

Surveillance Images were not able to capture the license plate.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $1,000 for information on this case.

    Construction is underway on Canyon's new aquatic park, which is still on schedule to open to the public on June 1st. The aquatic park is just a bunch of holes in the ground right now. But when the slides go up (by April 10th), people will start to see how close the project is to completion.
