AMARILLO, TX- The seizure and sale process of 138 mobile homes at the Amarillo Estates community will begin in about 3 weeks.
63 unoccupied homes will be auctioned off Nov. 6.
The remainder of the homes will be sold in March, giving residents a little more than four months to find a new place to live.
According to Potter County, the property owner owes roughly $275,000 in unpaid taxes.
The County says there is still time to save these homes if the owner makes payment arrangements to pay them back.
So far, Potter County's tax assessor says they haven't received a penny.
Management at the Amarillo Estates declined numerous opportunities to speak with NewsChannel 10 regarding this matter.
