I-40 drug bust nets 68 lbs. of marijuana

Sixty-eight pounds of marijuana was seized in a traffic stop on Interstate 40.

Highway Patrol in Oldham County pulled over a vehicle for speeding just east of Vega.

During a search of the vehicle, officers found more than 369,000 dollars worth of marijuana concealed in the cargo area.

Driver Ben Vong-Siri, a 43-year old Illinois resident, is said to have been transporting the drugs from California to Arkansas.

He was booked into Oldham County jail for possession of marijuana.
