Amarillo, TX - Police are searching for a suspected second vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident in north Amarillo.

On Sunday, September 30th, a Dodge pickup driven by 19 year-old Guillermo Flores struck 13 year-old Violette Ntawurusimba and 12 year-old Irafasha Vestina at the intersection of Mirror and Wichita.

Both girls were declared dead on scene.

Flores later turned himself in to police.

Law enforcement is now searching for a silver Chevy Impala that may have been at the intersection at the time of the accident.

If you know anything about this incident, you are urged to call CrimeStoppers at 374-4400.

Flores currently faces two counts of causing an accident causing injury or death.

Police do not believe alcohol was a factor.
